Independence Plus, Inc. (IPI) was proud to take part in AccessChicago, an expo for people with disabilities, held earlier this week at Navy Pier. The event, put on by the Chicago Mayor’s Office for People with Disabilities (MOPD), showcases the latest state-of-the-art products and services for the disabled community. This free show is held every other year and gives attendees a chance to test new products and connect with various community service organizations. Participants also took part in adaptive sports activities, bingo, and arts and crafts. We had a great time talking to everyone who stopped by our booth to ask about IPI, take one of our fun purple footballs, or just to say hello!
