Tom Tassone, MSW

IPI’s Director of Process Improvement

Tom Tassone began his career in healthcare more than 25 years ago as an MSW working with children and families in the foster care system. Since then, his “patient-first attitude” has helped him successfully serve patients, members, customers, and colleagues, in management roles for both non-profit and for-profit organizations involved in behavior health, health insurance, and accreditation on local and national levels. Tom came to Independence Plus in April 2019 as Director of Process Improvement, charged with overseeing the implementation process into a new electronic health record platform. He also oversees the quality assurance and improvement team.
