On behalf of all of our Amyotrophic Lateral Sclerosis (ALS) patients—past and present—and in response to a challenge from our dear Trissa, Independence Plus’s administrative team took the ALS Ice Bucket Challenge last Friday.
Not only are we honored to serve our patients and respond to our patient’s challenge, but this was a blast!
To help find a cure for this terrible disease, Independence Plus made a donation for each “iced” employee (and matched each individual employee donation, even if they didn’t get wet!) to the ALS Therapy Development Institute, a nonprofit with a mission to discover and develop effective treatment(s) to end ALS.
