Independence Plus is unique in the home healthcare field because we specialize in providing home care for adult and pediatric patients with complex medical and respiratory needs. We also offer three service lines – Skilled Hourly Home Nursing, Home Health Visits and High-Tech Medical Equipment. As we continue to grow our company and expand our coverage area we are always looking for dynamic professionals to join our team. Last year we were thrilled to welcome Carrie Pierce, BS, RRT, RCP, to oversee the operations of our practice with emphasis in our complex equipment division.

The past month has been a very exciting time at Independence Plus, Inc. (IPI)! Not only did we move to a new location, allowing us the space to expand our simulation lab and bolster our teaching facilities, we also welcomed a very talented nurse educator to our clinical education team! Sharon Celia, BSN, RN, is IPI’s new Assistant Director of Clinical Services, bringing with her more than 25 years experience as a nurse and a robust background as a leader and educator.
